Crisis Intervention- Services are provided by trained advocates immediately after a sexual assault or domestic violence incident. Services include accompaniment to the hospital for a medical exam by a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, arrange and transport victims of domestic violence to shelter, and helping victims to access services and agencies to meet their immediate needs.                                      

Counseling-Counseling for victims of violent crimes is essential to provide much needed understanding and support and to reduce trauma. Counseling is provided by licensed couseling, and/or trained advocates who provide peer counseling.

24-hour Crisis Hotline-The hotline provides immediate access to information and referral. Hotline personnel assist in calls for help in a crisis situation.

Forensic Interview- Specially trained advocates, in cooperation with CPS and local law enforcement agencies, conduct forensic interviews with child victims of sexual assault and child abuse. This video-recorded interview serves as the voice of the child to reduce the number of times he/she must describe the details of their abuse.

Accompaniment-Volunteers and trained advocates provide accompainment for clients to law enforcement agencies, the hospital, the district attorney's office and during all court proceedings to provide and to ensure that the client's legal rights and needs are being met.

Community Education and Training Programs- Education and training is provided to local employers, community groups, organizations, law enforcement, criminal justice personnel and individuals on topics including the dynamics of child abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and The Harbor's services.

Information and Referrals- Information and referrals are provided including available resources; how to obtain a protective order, divorce, or orders for child visitation and/or child support; safety planning to assist victims of domestic violence in taking precautions and how to stay safe and Crime Victim Compensation.
